Derek Dimuzio resigns

Head coach, Derek Dimuzio,  has resigned following the closing of the 2022-2023 season.

Derek was an assistant coach with our hockey club during the 2008-09/2009-10 seasons before returning in 2016-17 where he continued in an assistant coach role  before becoming the Head Coach in the 2018-19 season.

Derek has been a staple in the local hockey world and especially in the halls of the Pat Stapleton Arena, always finding time for a chat with the fans prior to games. Through the years, Derek has built strong bonds with his players & staff and we are convinced those strong relationships will continue for many years to come.

We want to thank Derek for his time and dedication to our hockey club. Complete commitment is an understatement to describe Derek’s role as he unconditionally supported his team on and off the ice. We know that whatever lies ahead for Derek, he will do the task with assiduity.

All the best Dimo!

We have also received resignations from Assistant Coach,Darren Rogers, Assistant Goalie Coach, Steve Bryce and support staff, Chris Guthrie.

The years of commitment to our hockey club has not gone unnoticed and we appreciate all of your efforts to make our team a second home for our players.  We wish you all good luck in your future endeavours.

All the best Darren, Steve and Chris!
