Congratulations to Dave Anger for winning the Earl MacKenzie Award!
The Earl MacKenzie award is presented on a nomination basis and only recognizes people involved in sports for at least 30 years.
Anger coached both boys and girls in SMAA hockey & soccer, and was also involved in the Fred Pageau skate school. On top of that, Anger has been an equipment manager for Sarnia’s Jr. ‘B’ hockey team for many years. In 2004 he won the Kelly Hearn Award as league volunteer of the year!
During his time with the team it has won an Ontario championship and two Western Jr. ‘B’ titles. If all of that wasn’t enough, he was also a volunteer with the Rebound program, working with troubled youth.
